The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society is delighted to offer a range of professional tours for those interested in finding out more about the architect, artist and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

The work of Mackintosh and his talented wife, Margaret, can only be truly appreciated by visiting Glasgow and seeing their work in context.

Bespoke Tours

The CRM Society has over forty years’ experience in organising tours in various aspects of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Margaret Macdonald and their contemporaries. Please contact us for further details. We are pleased to arrange tours for individuals and groups and can offer exclusive access, presentations and events at the Society’s headquarters at the Mackintosh Queen’s Cross building.

General Tours

Mackintosh Queen's Cross Internal Tours:

We are pleased to offer internal tours of Mackintosh Queen's Cross, the only church building ever designed by Mackintosh that was ever actually built.

Mackintosh Discovered City Centre Walking Tours:
This introductory walk around Glasgow city centre will delve into an era of Mackintosh design, exploring his contemporaries and discovering the architecture that shaped post-Victorian Glasgow.
This 90 minute walk begins just outside Mackintosh at the Willow and will finish at The Lighthouse, covering roughly 1.5km in the city centre. Booking is essential to avoid disappointment as group sizes are capped at 10 persons. Children are welcome but please be advised that the route is structured around busy city centre streets.
